Saturday is off at office( Yahoooooooo!!!) . Got up late … played few games on PC .. read some books here and there …. at 4:00PM got ready for going to “Puranon ka Jorr“. Packed my Luggage 🙂 and went to Masjid. I was late but very lucky… they were just leaving when I reached there. Got to Jorr by car around 5:00 and offered Assar there… After Assar It was Maulana Jamshed’s Bayan… After Maghrib it was Haji Saab’s Bayan.
Due to rain the previous day… the ground was like MoltyFoam 😀 …. and cold too… anyways not a big problem… I had a blanket and sheet and a plastic sheet… For sleeping I spread the cloth sheet on top of plastic sheet … and layed down in my warm blanket such that half of it was beneath me and I wrapped the other half around and fell into a “peacefull” sleep … a sleep I was missing since I came back from 4-months … Honestly the sleep you get in the path of ALLAH is not found anywhere else.
In the morning got up for namaz e Fajr … and after that it was Haji Saab’s bayan .. as always … it was a long bayan … after that we had breakfast … it was with cream and honey with bread … and then it was rest time till 10 am … Then “Taaleem ka Halqqa” laga … after that … lunch preperations started after lunch there was time in zuhar. So it was “in’fradi aamaal” time.
By that time the weather was starting to give hints of rain … and people had started host plastic sheets over there places to be safe. Around 2:30pm Zuhar Jamaat started … during the jamaat it started drizzling … by now we hadnt hosted a sheet over our head and were hoping and praying that there would be no rain. but our hopes didnt seem to come true 🙂 … so some people went to buy plastic sheets … they were gone a few minutes that the rain got worst …it started raining cats and dogs….. we gathered all our stuff in the middle of our sheet (which we layed on the ground) and put the rest of the part over it. and then …………..
we ran for it !!!!!! 😀
We had three cars … we did a quick “mashwara”… we would take shelter in the cars … and see if the conditions suitable … perhaps not suitable …. rather whether it is possible to stay there…. cats & dogs raining went on for about 20 min … and it made the conditions worst … the ground was already not good from the the day before yesterday’s raining … now it was presenting view of a puddle … let me tell you these “grounds” are actually used as fields to grow crops … so the ground was very raw.
Anyways after the rain stopped our Ameer saab decided to go to the under-development madarassa building of Babar saab …. so we all went there .. there we had tea and then some people went back to get the luggage and stuff which we left there. I had t go to office the next morning so I was confused should I stay the night there or not … then one of the people were going back in car …. so I availed the opportunity and went home with them.
thats all now you can stop cursing me .. the post is over

Came to office (late again :@) … Starting studying and tried to understand DOM Handling libraries of java by apache … offered jumma namaz at a ground near office … it was cloudy since morning but no wind was blowing… after offering namaz a strong wind started to blow… it looked like it would rain…. but it didn’t …. we hurried back to office …
Jehanzeb gave us treat at Bonfire that night …. all of us i.e. me , Jehanzeb (Jazzy) , Azeem, Junaid (J), Usman(Bubbs), Asad (stud) and Kamran(Kami). We got together after a long time. It was a fun night. We chatted a lot. After dinner, going to Mini Golf for “sheesha” was proposed but it started drizzling and looked like it would get worse. I and Usman were on bikes so we insisted on going home. Sheesha could be on someother time. Azeem was not happy. And as expected on way back it started raining heavily and I mean HEAVY!!!!. I was drenched from head to toe in seconds. and I didnt had a jacket that day just a sweater. Anyways found a shelter and waited for about 20 mins for the rain to slow down.
Reached home around 10:30 pm all drenched. Changed clothes and went to Atique’s home. Where a barbQ was waiting for me. All my “muhalla” friends aka Umer (Bhatti pronounced patti), Zulqerrnain (sheikh), Atique urf (Tipu/Doosh), Sheikh’s and Doosh’s younger brothers were there. We prepared and ate Seekh Kabaab’s with roghni naans and coke. It was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!. The environment was full shugalMahol.com :D. Went home at around 1 pm or late ….. dont remember exactly.
Yesterday office was uneventful nothing new… started exploring xDoc Converter (out company’s product for cross format document conversion )… just getting familiar with it …
Something did happen when I was going back home on my bike … It seems funny as I think of it now … when traveling I “wear” my cell phone on my left wrist … its a mobile cover/pouch which can be wore on your wrist … its advantage is that you are alerted by an incoming call through vibration as it is in direct contact with your body
Anyways … so on my way back … I felt my cell vibrating … although the ring volume is set to high but in traffic usually its not enough … any ways I stopped my bike at a side and attended the call … after it I it back in the wrist pouch and and went on … I have to go to my aunt’s home to fetch something … when I reached there I came to know that my cell is gone … its not on my wrist … I checked my other pockets … may be I put it there … but it wast anywhere … so … I immediately called myself … hehe .. I mean my cell … all the time praying to ALLAH and doing “zikr” … the loss was not of money … but all the numbers in my cell … for me that was the real loss .
So I called from a PCO and a man picked up ( the accent was that of Karachi) and I told him that this is my cell-phone and asked him where he was. He told me his location. I went there as soon as I can. He told me that they are three people (2 males and 1 female). They told me that they are from Karachi and were going back today and were getting late. Waited only so that they can return the phone to its owner. We had a little conversation and they gave me back my cellphone and I thanked them and we were on our way.
Good and Honest people exist.
In fact I think they are in majority. The thing is that our environment highlights only the negative side of what going on around us. The media especially newspapers report unusual .. or should I say … not-so-normal happenings and facts … good things are “normal” so they don’t get the attention.
Its like a person wearing a new full white dress (say Shalwar Qameez like a jageerdar hero of our commercials 🙂 ) enters into a room with a small , everybody will look at him and notice only the small “black dot” on it but would not or appreciate the new and clean and shining dress overall.
I think that is enough blabbering for now.
ALLAH HAFIZ and take care
