Cell-Phone Lost…

Standard

Yesterday office was uneventful nothing new… started exploring xDoc Converter (out company’s product for cross format document conversion )… just getting familiar with it …

BUT !!!

Something did happen when I was going back home on my bike … It seems funny as I think of it now … when traveling I “wear” my cell phone on my left wrist … its a mobile cover/pouch which can be wore on your wrist … its advantage is that you are alerted by an incoming call through vibration as it is in direct contact with your body

Anyways … so on my way back … I felt my cell vibrating … although the ring volume is set to high but in traffic usually its not enough … any ways I stopped my bike at a side and attended the call … after it I it back in the wrist pouch and and went on … I have to go to my aunt’s home to fetch something … when I reached there I came to know that my cell is gone … its not on my wrist … I checked my other pockets … may be I put it there … but it wast anywhere … so … I immediately called myself … hehe .. I mean my cell … all the time praying to ALLAH and doing “zikr” … the loss was not of money … but all the numbers in my cell … for me that was the real loss .

So I called from a PCO and a man picked up ( the accent was that of Karachi) and I told him that this is my cell-phone and asked him where he was. He told me his location. I went there as soon as I can. He told me that they are three people (2 males and 1 female). They told me that they are from Karachi and were going back today and were getting late. Waited only so that they can return the phone to its owner. We had a little conversation and they gave me back my cellphone and I thanked them and we were on our way.

Good and Honest people exist.

In fact I think they are in majority. The thing is that our environment highlights only the negative side of what going on around us. The media especially newspapers report unusual .. or should I say … not-so-normal happenings and facts … good things are “normal” so they don’t get the attention.

Its like a person wearing a new full white dress (say Shalwar Qameez like a jageerdar hero of our commercials 🙂 ) enters into a room with a small , everybody will look at him and notice only the small “black dot” on it but would not or appreciate the new and clean and shining dress overall.

I think that is enough blabbering for now.

ALLAH HAFIZ and take care
