جو برس گئی تو بہار ہیں

جو ٹھہر گئی تو قرار ہیں

کبھی آ گئیں یونہی بے سبب

کبھی چھا گئیں یونہی روز و شب

کبھی شور ہیں

کبھی چپ ہیں

یہ بارشیں بھی تم سی ہیں ۔ ۔ ۔

کسی یاد میں کسی رات کو

اک دبی ہوئی سی راکھ کو

کبھی یوں ہوا کہ بجھا دیا

کبھی خود سے خود کو جلا دیا

کہیں بُوند بُوند میں گم سی ہیں

 
 

یہ بارشیں بھی تم سی ہیں ۔ ۔ ۔
